Cancelling a charging point with Wattify
What is the notice period?
Wattify has a notice period of 3 calendar months. This means that you will be billed until the end of the current quarter, depending on when you give notice.
What happens to my current subscription charges after cancellation?
You will pay the subscription fees up to and including the last day of the notice period. Any outstanding invoices must still be settled. No further charges will be incurred after cancellation.
Can I cancel multiple charging points individually?
Yes. If you have several charging points, you can cancel them individually. Please clearly specify which charging points you wish to cancel, so that the others remain active.
What happens to my split billing after cancellation?
As soon as the subscription is cancelled, the split-billing arrangement will also be terminated. Any payouts for sessions that have already been completed will still be processed according to the normal payout procedure; see wattify.be/nl/faq/articles/a/18.
My charging point will remain in place – what does that mean for the platform?
After cancellation, your charging station will be disconnected from the Wattify platform. The charging point itself will remain in place, but can no longer be managed via admin.wattify.be and will no longer be listed in third-party charging apps.
Can I reconnect my charging point to Wattify at a later date?
Yes, that is possible. You can take out a new subscription at any time via wattify.be/nl/prijzen and reconnect your charging station. Depending on the brand of your charging point, we’ll direct you to the relevant connection guide (Zaptec, Smappee, Wallbox, Alfen, etc…).
I’d like to switch to a different subscription rather than cancel – is that possible?
Absolutely! You can switch plans at any time without cancelling your subscription entirely. View our plans at wattify.be/nl/prijzen.
What if I want to cancel because my charging point is faulty or offline?
A technical issue isn’t a reason to cancel straight away. Please contact our support team first – we’ll be happy to help you get your charging station up and running again.
